By creating an account or using Istishara, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.2. Eligibility and your account
You must provide accurate information when you sign up, including a valid phone number or email. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.3. How the platform works
Customers submit a written question and pay to have it answered; experts respond by audio or video within a deadline they set themselves. Payment is held until the expert responds and is released once they do, refunded automatically if they miss their deadline, or refunded if they decline the question.4. Payments and fees
Prices for audio and video answers are set by each expert. Istishara takes a commission on completed transactions, disclosed before you pay. Payments are processed by third-party providers (Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card networks) — we never store your raw card details.5. Expert obligations
Experts must complete identity verification and provide accurate credentials for the categories they answer in. Experts may decline a question with a stated reason, but may not solicit customers to transact outside the platform.6. Confidentiality and sharing
Conversations between a customer and an expert are private by default. A question and its answer may only be shared publicly if both the customer and the expert explicitly consent, on that specific question.7. Prohibited conduct
You may not use Istishara for content that is sexual, hateful, or otherwise unlawful; to circumvent identity verification; or to move a transaction outside the platform to avoid fees. Content and accounts can be reported, and violations may result in a warning, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban.8. Disputes and refunds
If a response is missing or clearly doesn't address your question, you can raise a dispute. Our team reviews disputes individually and can issue a partial or full refund. Automatic refunds also apply when an expert misses their stated response deadline.9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Expert answers are informational and reflect that individual expert's opinion — they are not a substitute for formal professional advice (legal, medical, or financial) where that distinction matters. Istishara facilitates the connection and payment but is not a party to the advice given, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant question.10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, including for repeated disputes, fraud, or attempts to transact outside the platform. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the update.12. Contact us
